MidAmerica Neuroscience Institute includes Consultants in Neurology, a clinical practice that diagnoses and treats neurological disorders. It also includes a not-for-profit research arm called MidAmerica Neuroscience Research Foundation.
The Institute’s Multiple Sclerosis Center, Sleep Center, Headache Center and Memory Loss Center have been developed to provide increased access to services for patients with MS, sleep disorders, migraine and other headaches, and Alzheimer’s and other memory loss conditions.
“We have gathered together both top-level neurological specialists and the top-level researchers at the Institute,” founder Dr. Vernon D. Rowe said. “Our goal is to provide the fastest, most complete care to patients and their families, and to research new types of treatment.”
The Institute and the four new centers are located at 8550 Marshall Drive in Lenexa. The Institute has two additional locations in the Kansas City area including: 5400 North Oak Trafficway, Suite 103, and its Imaging Center at 10 Cambridge Circle, Suite 320 in Kansas City, Kansas.
